Faculty adapted existing OER content, starting from David Lippman's Math in Society textbook, remixed with content drawn from other sources as needed. A template MyOpenMath course framework was created that includes formative and summative assessments for each chapter/module, including homework, quizzes, and a collection of sample projects suitable for use in online or face-to-face settings. The resulting course directly benefits students in MTH 154 by providing a course custom-designed to meet the objectives of quantitative reasoning, with no financial cost for access to materials.
