Co-authored by a diverse team from three Virginia community colleges, this historical geology textbook incorporates media, including 3D models and audio files of authors discussing answers to the integrated assessment questions. Reflecting the importance of fieldwork to geology, it will include “virtual field experiences” already developed with support from the National Science Foundation.
