A Decolonial Eighteenth Century & Literature of the British Isles / COMING SOON
This grant builds on work begun during our NEH Level 1 Digital Advancement Grant, which provided funding to develop a Literature in Context--a platform for a digital literature anthology by which faculty can generate individually-themed coursepacks. Specifically, this application funds the development of nine student editions for inclusion in LiC focused on materials for the decolonized survey of English literature. We will incorporate frequently-taught texts which together form an armature for the decolonial survey of early literature. These student editions will include headnotes, annotations, and facsimile page images for materials that are needed now more than ever.
